To be blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places means that we are supplied with all that produces spiritual and material goods. The material objects of this world came into being by God who is spirit; and these blessings are in Christ Jesus. That means that he is in control of these spiritual blessings.

    Ephesians 1:3
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, NKJV

When we say that we have the Holy Spirit it must be understood that it is not from a position of ownership that we can tell him what to do. He has been given to us as our helper, no one can own God.

    1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. NKJV

Healing is the children bread but how to perform the process is God’s prerogative. God does all things as it pleases him. As the scripture say “he works all things according to the counsel of his will.”

    Ephesians 1:11
11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will. NKJV

According to Romans chapter seven and verses thirteen through twenty, sin appears to be a foreign agent living in man producing sin in him through God’s righteous law.

    Romans 7:13-20
13 Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. NKJV

When the law commands a person to perform God righteous demands sin rises up and cause the person to do just the opposite of what the law commands him to do. The law gives instructions but no power to carry out what it has commanded.

    Jesus compared living in the will of God to walking in the daylight, for he said;

    John 11:9-11
9 Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. 10 But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him." NKJV

He made the statement in response to the disciples reminding him of the danger of going back into Judea after the Jews attempted to kill him.

Jesus wanted us to know that there is a high level of protection for the one who will do the will of God in following the directions of the Holy Spirit.

There are two reasons why we study the word of God. First is that we might know the one who gave it and second that we might know what it is teaching. The word of God is his revelation of himself and his will for mankind.

Jesus’ death to sin brought freedom from sin to me; because he died for me that is; in my place. He did this for all men, and when a sinner turns to Jesus his blood cleanses the sinner and he is made the righteousness of God, no longer a sinner but rather a new creation.

    Romans 6:10
10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that
He lives, He lives to God. NKJV

    Romans 15:1
15 We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. NKJV

The more we become like Jesus in character our ability to bear with people increases.

If you are trying to be someone, in your mind you are not what you are trying to be. Your mind can be your best friend if you will renew it with the word of God. If not it can be your worst enemy.

Man is a complex person; not to the one who created him, but only to himself and others who are like him.
